Sealed Makrolon® case with fibre-reinforced polycarbonate, extremely resistant and at the same time ultra-light. Thanks to the non-slip and shock-absorbing NBR long-life rubber armouring, the glass is resistant to oil, acid and salt water. The binoculars have a unique floating prism bearing that ensures permanently elastic attachment of the optical parts and the best possible protection against impacts, whereby the adjustment remains unchanged and precise for decades. The binoculars are also pressure-watertight up to 10 m, have a nitrogen pressure filling to prevent fogging and can be used in the temperature range from -40 to +80 °C.
