Compact and lightweight, with a distinctive look that gives it a rugged style to match its optical performance, the Steiner Optics 10x26 Safari Ultra Sharp Binocular delivers tack-sharp views with an easy to use and convenient to carry form factor.

Living up to its name, a proprietary lens coating system is used to not only maximise light transmission, improve contrast, and produce accurate colour representation, but also to protect the user's eyes from damaging ultraviolet (UV) radiation. These coatings, when coupled with a powerful magnification and a field of view that approaches wide angle, presents the user with bright and clear tack-sharp images and an immersive observational experience. Winged eyecups conform to the user's face and eye sockets to block stray peripheral light and improve the contrast of the view while limiting distractions.

Designed to easily fit in a pocket, pack, or purse, the binocular is made with a dual-hinge system that allows the optical tubes to fold close to the closed bridge to give the binocular the smallest form factor when fully closed. The chassis is made of a lightweight and impact-resistant Makrolon polycarbonate material that is wrapped in an oil-, petroleum-, and chemical-resistant NBR synthetic rubber armour that offers improved grip security, especially in cold and wet weather.
