Fast-Hybrid Autofocus freedom

The wide-area AF utilises intelligent tracking and on-sensor phasedetection for tenacious subject tracking. 627 point focal phase-detection AF covers 89% of the image area delivering exceptional accuracy. Additionally the FX6 supports Real-time Eye AF and Face Detection even when shooting at 120p high frame rates in DCI-4K or 4K (QFH)

Operability and professional connectivity

A wide range of professional interfaces are available including 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs, TC for multi-camera sync, and SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps to support fluid data workflows. Internal audio recording is available across four channels with intuitive controls located on the body of the camera, and dual XLR inputs on the Smart Handle. 5Ghz and 2.4ghz WiFi
frequencies enable a host of advanced wireless production features.

Remarkable camera customisation

Despite it’s amazingly light 0.89kg body, the magnesiumalloy FX6 is more than tough enough for the rigors of realworld shooting. Featuring the ergonomic Smart Grip and Smart Handle, these offer easy one-button adjustments for consistently used functions such as iris, zoom, record, and also a swath of assignable buttons and dials for ultimate customisation. Dual media slots support CFexpress Type A cards along with conventional SDXC UHS-I and UHS-II cards for convenient data management.

Colour Science inspired by VENICE

Inspired by the VENICE cinema camera, the FX6 supports the colour profile S-Cinetone. This colour profile responds to a growing need for more expressive colour and tone depth 
when recording footage without the time consuming efforts of colour grading. The straight out-of-camera colour has been designed to portray natural skin tones with pleasant highlight
roll off and rich details in shadows. For ultimate colour and tone range, S-Log3 offers 15+ stops dynamic range for detailed and rich footage to be worked with in post-production.
