I shall slink around the place all day drinking coffee and listening to the trade reps speaking about the new hear they'll be bringing. I will try to sit in on a session or two in the lecture halls. I will handle the fresh gear and try to decide whether I need to buy more.
Well, that was a silly statement. Of course I need more. I am a photographer and still breathing...
And I get to listen to the crowds in the trade hall as they ask their questions. These can be the most accurate guide to what the craft is doing...because people often speak of their wishes and needs in very complex ways. All praise to the trade reps who can help them by straightening out the complex language of photography.
And they sometimes do it on little sleep and less food. Interstate reps are doing harder work than you'd think.
Anyway, there will be enough secrets and amusement on the day to write a month's of internet essays. If you see me scribbling in my tiny black notebook you'll know something just happened. If I am running and screaming, join me.
