On Friday 28th July the Astrofest Astrophotography Exhibition 2023 entry period opens 🌃
This year it’s only open fort wo weeks with final entries in before midnight 13th August 2023. We encourage all Western Australian residents who share a love of capturing the night sky to be a part of this fantastic community exhibition. AstroFest 2023 will have more categories, sponsors, and prizes than ever.

Aurora Australis has been a big feature on the local scene this year, and to match we have a category for Best Aurora Australis Photograph. The Mobile Phone category returns, though this year limited to single exposure images to encourage everyday photographers to get involved and snap pics of this awesome southern night sky.
Judging this year’s entries will be a challenge taken on by experienced astrophotographers Andrew Lockwood and David Johnson together with professional photographer Paul Dowe.
